Who we are
Deutsch Schreiben ("the app") is run by Mohammed Majed Ibrahim, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: deutschschreiben492@gmail.com.
Your account
You need an account (or a guest account) to use the app. You must be at least 13. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens in your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example by trying to get around usage limits or reselling access.
Free and paid features

- Free: the first 20% of every level, the placement test and a small daily allowance of AI features.
- Level plan: a subscription (monthly, every 3 months or yearly) for all lessons and grammar of the levels you choose (one to five levels; the more levels, the bigger the discount).
- Full plan: a subscription (monthly, every 3 months or yearly) for every level plus the AI tutor, AI answer checking, voice input and photo correction.
- Both plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Level passes bought earlier (one payment, 12 months) keep working until they end.
Prices are shown before you pay. The AI features have fair-use limits to prevent abuse.
Payments
On the website, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles customer service inquiries and returns relating to payment. In the iPhone and Android app, purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play under their terms. We never see or store your card details.

The AI tutor
The tutor and answer checks are generated by AI and can be wrong. They help you practise; they are not a certified assessment or a guarantee of passing an exam.
Content
The lessons, exercises and explanations belong to Deutsch Schreiben. You may use them for your own learning, not copy or redistribute them. Explainer videos are embedded from YouTube and belong to their creators.
Changes and availability
We keep improving the app and may change features. We'll tell you in the app before changing prices of an active subscription. We aim to keep the service available but can't promise it will never be interrupted.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Copyright
Only send the tutor or our support texts and photos you have the right to share. To report copyright infringement, see our copyright policy; we close the accounts of repeat infringers.
